Do you suffer from Mouth Ulcers?
Mouth ulcers cause pain and discomfort and appear as a single or in clusters. The pain mouth ulcers cause is made worse by eating certain types of food.
The most painful stage lasts for three or four days and then the symptoms settle and the ulcers heal quickly on their own.
A single mouth ulcer is usually caused by damage to the mouth, like
- biting the cheek
- damage to the gum with a toothbrush
- a sharp tooth or filling
- braces
- burning your mouth from hot food or drinks
Other causes of mouth ulcers varying from
poor circulation, bacterial or fungal infection (Candida) or possibly an undetected food allergy.
Ulcers almost always occur in people who are 'run down' physically, or emotionally stressed.
They usually go away once the source of the problem is treated.
Mouth Ulcers can appear anywhere within the mouth, including the inner cheeks, gums, tongue, lips, or palate. |
